Last week, we gave you the first look inside "Female Force: Stephenie Meyer," the comic book biography of "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer. Now, we have another exclusive peek at the comic—but this time, we're bringing you a brand new cover image.
Back when the project was first announced, we told you that publisher Bluewater Productions was planning to release it in two versions: a standard-size comic and a limited-edition, 32-page version featuring an illustrated history of Forks, Washington, the town where "Twilight" takes place. Now, to go along with their special cover only available at Forks retailer Dazzled By Twilight, Bluewater has told MTV News that another Forks-based shop, 98331 Gear, will be carrying the book—complete with a brand new cover exclusive to that shop.
Read on for your first peek at the new "Female Force: Stephenie Meyer" cover created by artist Matt Bellisle and exclusive to 98331 Gear, as well as more info about the book.“At 98331 GEAR we pride ourselves on having high quality, unique items for Twilight fans to purchase”, said Staci Chastain, one of the owners of 98331 Gear. “We carry very few of the mass produced merchandise, opting to carry higher-end versions. Our clientele is finicky and we like that about them."
According to Chastain, the book will also be available with a foil cover in a limited run of 100 copies.
"Female Force: Stephenie Meyer" arrives on shelves November 11 (right alongside "New Moon" in theaters), and is written by Ryan Burton (“Flying Saucers vs The Earth”) with interior art by Dave MacNeil.
