Paris Hilton Stalker Arrested

Paris Hilton just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to escaping stalkers. Police arrested yet another almost-intruder looking into Hilton's Malibu beach house over the holiday weekend.

James Rainford was taken into custody on Monday after he was spotted trying to get a peek inside the heiress' home. But he wasn't just any curious passerby hoping to get a look at the socialite.

"He was hanging around on the beach while Paris was inside," one witness told The Daily Mail (via
Us Weekly). "Someone recognized him as being the man who had given her trouble in the past and the cops arrived pretty quickly."

According to a statement released by the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, "Deputies identified the suspect as James Rainford and determined a valid restraining order prohibiting him from being within 200 yards of Miss Hilton or her residence was in effect."

Rainford happens to be the same man who
attacked Hilton's ex-boyfriend, Cy Waits, outside of an L.A. courthouse in April. Coincidentally, Waits and Hilton were at the courthouse to testify against accused Hilton intruder Nathan Lee Parada, who was recently sentenced to two years in prison.

Rainford was already on probation after being picked up for trespassing on Hilton's property and getting into an altercation with her security last October.

He was
sentenced to 227 days in jail after pleading 'no contest' to the misdemeanor battery charges against Waits, but ended up serving just 24 days.

Thanks to his latest incident at Hilton's beach house, Rainford is now being held on $20,000 bail.

Here We Go Again!

Lindsey Lohan has tested positive for alcohol during her house arrest period.  She has been ordered to appear in court once again for the infringement. It’s been reported that the probation department wants her out of house arrest and into jail. Hey Lindsey, why not put down the bottle of Peach Schnapps and maybe make a move or something? Yet again, it looks like we may be seeing her wearing that orange jumpsuit. According to TMZ
, the probation department has had enough with Lindsey and the parties she’s been having at her house while on house arrest. Lohan claims she did not have a party, but a barbecue. Right, because a barbecue isn’t just an outdoor party with grilled burgers and corn on the cob…nice try Lindsey.

The hearing is scheduled for June 23rd.

Plaxico is free, but where will he play?

Plaxico Burress was a receiver for the New York Giants before he was arrested on weapons charges and sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Plaxico Burress was released from prison this week after spending 21 months (of a 2-year sentence) there on weapons charges.

The charges followed an incident where Burress brought a gun into a nightclub and then proceeded to accidently shoot himself in the leg. You’d think shooting yourself in the leg would be punishment enough. But the league, and the courts, decided there needed to be real repercussions.

It was pretty clear that the league was making an example of him, which is necessary nowadays when professional athletes are international celebrities that are watched my millions.

Many football fans thought Plaxico’s sentence was too harsh, but as of this week opinions about the past no longer matter.

The only thing football fans are concerned about now if where Burress will play and how effective he’ll be on his new team.  Before going to prison, Burress was a receiver for the New York Giants, and he hasn’t ruled out a return to his former team – although it is pretty unlikely.

Other teams that are swirling around the rumour mill include the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, New York Jets, St. Louis Rams and the Washington Redskins.

Inevitably, with Plaxico’s return comes talk of Michael Vick’s comeback. Vick served 19 months in prison for running an illegal dog-fighting ring out of his home. When he came back as the quarterback of the Eagles in 2010, he had a remarkable season.

He passed for a career high of over 3000 yards, and stunned football fans (and football executives) with his superstar season.

Now, Plaxico is no Michael Vick, but it will be interesting to see if his run-in with the law is going to make him or break him.
