Betty White is getting her very own reality tv show on NBC called "Betty White's off their rockers". The show is supposed to feature Betty and her senior friends pulling pranks on unsuspecting youngsters! The show has already earned the nickname "Gerriatric Jackass" because of the premise. I know I would certainly want to watch the theatrics this 30min slot will provide with all this hidden camera action. Hahaha! These old folks better have the steam to keep the ratings high! lol From the looks of it they may because Betty White is at the top of her game at the ripe age of 89. Betty says "People have been telling me that I’m ‘Off My Rockers’ for years — now I can prove it." I have a feeling this show will be a gut-busting success! Ciara wants OUT of her recording contract!

Ciara, Ciara, the singer with that RnB voice and a body tight like a quarter is openly speaking of expanding out from the music industry. She was interview by Yahoo Australia where she let it all out. She feels that she just wants to let things fall as they may and just go with the flow so to speak. Personally I don't blame her. Her record sales and overall popularity has never sufficiently summed up Ciara's talent. She is planning on using her leverage in the music industry to strengthen her position in tv and film as she is already well know. Ciara also has a clothing company and I can see her branching off into this new phase of life very seamlessly, after all she is a natural entertainer and has all the right contacts. Snoop's 11th ablum drops!!!

Snoop "Nathaniel" Dogg made an appearance on the Wendy Williams show last night to promote his 11th studio album "Doggumentary" released March 29th. He wore dark shades as usual and was cloaked in his usual easy going charm. He spoke with Wendy as if talking to an old friend. She reminded the audience that they go way back like old friends because he use to be featured on her radio talk show as a guest. While reminiscing she offered her condolences for the passing of Snoops friend and hip hop legend Nate Dogg. Snoop then displayed his tatt of Nate's face with the saying "All dogs go to heaven". I personally think it's such a brave thing to get tatted up with an image of a loved one that's passed on. To see that image daily, I dunno If I can handle that. Snoop though has grown into a real solid man, keeping a marriage going for 13 years strong with his high school sweet heart Shante, creating a beautiful family. Apparently Snoop has been invited by Prince William to perform at his bachelor party. Beyonce Got Tired of Her Daddy!!! Ohhhh Nooooo.

Sometimes it's best to leave family as family and business as a separate entity. It's offical! Beyonce fired her pops. I think there is some deep seated anger from Beyonce based on the fact that her dad cheated on her mom while married and had a baby outside of the marriage. That would drive me to fire my dad too! Hell yea it would. But the biggest question is, who will be her manager? Jay Z? Well, we can't rule it out but you know that Jay Z is richer than rich and he's like some kind of business genius. I don't know but if they mix business and marriage, I think there will be an upcoming divorce. I'm not trying to be negative but it is what it is and we don't want to see another hopeful marriage breakup like Nas and Kelis, Treach and Peppa, or even Ike and Tina...well damn, Ike beat the mess out of Tina so maybe that was a horrible example lol but more power to Jay and B! Foxy Brown: The Queen of Controversy

We thought maybe Foxy Brown had been doing well. Think again! Foxy got kicked off a radio talk show on a Tom Joyner's sponsored cruise. Apparently, Foxy's attitude needed a little adjusting and she wasn't on her best behaviour. This was probably accompanied by her usually F bomb, or Bombo this and that. As she always says, "I'm Trini!" I'm sure the Trinidadian people aren't happy with the fact that she is claiming to be one of them. haha! Anyhow, eventually Foxy performed but was kicked off the boat and put on a plane. That woman is too old to be acting out like that! So what she been to Riker's Island. That doesn't mean that she should carry the hood everywhere she goes. There is certainly a time and a place for everything. Tom Joyner is classy and only deals with classy people, which she is not. What can I say? I mean I watch 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' recently and Kim K. is one of my favorite socialite celebrities, however, did ya'll know that Kim is a big time snitch!?! You know they say if you snitch in the hood, you get dealt with. lol I wonder what will be of Kim since she has nothing even close to hood about her or around her?? Apparently allhiphop.com is saying that in order for Kim K. not to have scandulous stories revealed about her, she snitches on her friends and have them become news stories instead to avoid public humiliation or whatever! HOW LOW IS THAT!!! To some Kim would be one of those friends where you say "keep you friends close but your enemy closer". It has come to my attention that Ja Rule is tryna twitslap 50Cent. Tweeting his little fingers off about how fellow rapper 50 Cent is a snitch and how he got a restraining order against him out of fear. Now I don't know these dudes personally but... C'mon son!!! "Restraining order" against rat boy Ja Rule. The only thing that needs restraint is this case is Ja Rule. Someone needs to give him a piece a cheese to chew on. Cause we know chewing on 50Cent might 'bruk him teet'. I think that if Ja Rule wanted to kick up some dust, he should have done it in a more believable way. For instance he could say " 5o, your on steroids and that's the only reason you look so big and buff, tell the truth mang!" LOL, I mean he's gotta get more creative than those "old school" beef topics. Face Mr. Ja "ratboy"Rule, you had your ride. You came off it to do god knows what. Junos 2011: Fashion Hit or Miss??

Let's talk fashion, what can we say about Keisha Chante? She looks so elegant in her flowing white grecian influenced dress. It was almost as if she were attending a wedding. Simply beautiful! Shania's dress was also very nice embellished with beading as if she were an ice princess. Sarah McLachlan looked like a school girl to me in that short spring style dress sutiable for a brunch. All she needed was a hat! As much as I love Kardinal Offishall, I wasn't too impressed with the red suit. He knows he could've done better and so do I. Sources say that he was simply trying to give us a taste of what will be in his clothing line. Some call it sharp and I call it dull! Drizzy looked absolutely divine in that brown suit. I definitely prefer him in a suit anyday. Get it Drizzy! As far as fashion, it was a decent night for fashion. No one was completely over the top like Nicki Minaj or Rihanna at the Grammys. Canadians keep it subtle but flavorful although we like over the top. Gives us more to talk about! LOL

Woooooop Wooooop! Junos 2011...SKETCHY!?!

As Canadians we are happy that we can have an awards show that honours our own. Fans come out in full effect and the best Canadian artists of all genres. Sometimes the Junos just doesn't get it right like last night. Yea Drake hosted the show but was that supposed to be the compromise for not getting any awards?!? Maybe I missed something but Drake has yet to receive top honours from these award shows. I believe BET has been the only award show to bestow honours on this great artist. Once again, poor Drake got the "talk to the hand" kind of situation. That really sucks! Drizzy, they did you wrong, wrong, wroooooong!

On another note, quite frankly half the artists I'm not sure who the heck they are (shame on me) but at least Beiber had the privilege of winning not just one but two awards for 'Pop Album of the Year' and 'Juno Fan Choice Award'. Beiber was not awarded at the Grammys but his own people looked out for him. However, that doesn't excuse the fact that they overlooked Drake. Hosting just ain't good enough in my book.

It is nice that Katy Perry won International Album of the Year but I'm pretty sure there was better. But congrats to her anyhow. Neil Young won for 'Artist of the Year', uuuummm isn't he like 70 or something?!? Not to say that in old age you can't do your thing but maybe they should've created a lifetime achievement award for him. He's too old to be claiming a spot that's not meant for him. Harsh you might say but SO TRUE!

Some of the other awards like 'Album of the Year' went to Arcade Fire for The Suburbs, 'Rap Recording of the Year' to Shad for TSOL, 'R&B/Soul Recording of the Year' to Quanteisha for Stars, and 'Reggae Recording of the Year' to Elaine Lil Bit Shepherd D'Maestro for Likkle but Mi Tallawah. Hmmm. Maybe it will be better next year! I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Chris Brown Apologizes for GMA incident, AND he gets re-invited to the show.

Chris Brown went on 106 and park yesterday to promote his new album FAME, and in the midst of it he apologized for the incident that occur on the set of Goodmorning America. He expressed that he felt “exploited” because there were a set of guidelines that GMA had to follow if they wanted Chris on the show. He apologized and said how he loves his fans and there’s no beef with Robin(the reporter). Also it is rumored that Chris Brown has gotten invited BACK to the show, so we’ll see how that works out when he gets back on GMA. In my opinion this is just anooooother one of Chris Brown’s sappy apologies...I’m so OVER hearing him mess up, and then apologize right after..it’s like dude! Stop apologizing! You don’t owe anybody ANYTHING, if you F%&K up WHO CARES! Drake, Cursing is a No No in Jamrock! lol

Toronto native, rapper Drake was almost arrested in Jamaica while performing as a guest of Movado on stage at the Brit Jam 2011. He uttered a very strong Jamaican curse word which is a huge NO NO for artists who come to perform on the island. Maybe Drake was just testing the Jamaican authorities. lol He was only given a warning without arrest. Apparently, Jamaica has a strict policy regarding cursing on stage. But don't be fooled, he wasn't the first and he won't be the last. Beenie Man, Snoop, and Ja Rule have all cursed on stage and faced charges as well for their doings.

Drizzy will learn quickly that the Jamaican authorities don't play and when they say something, they mean it. I'm sure Drake brought the house down anyhow...it is what he does best!

Bobby Brown Has Been Clean for 6 Years? Are Congrats in Order?!?!

Let's not get too anxious to say congrats. Last night Bobby Brown was on the Wendy Williams show to talk about his personal life and new album which he had been working on for 13 FULL YEARS!!! WHOA. That is record breaking time! Wendy asked him a ton of questions. Bobby stated that he's been clean for 6 years but still working on his drinking skills because he drinks occassionaly. I'm not going to judge him but I'm just saying 'hmm'. Anyhow, Wendy also asked him how long he's known his fiance Alicia Etheridge (a backup dancer) and he stated that they've known each other for 15 years when he was doing some music with New Edition. That seems suspicious! Then he went on further to say that and I quote "we HOOKED BACK UP AGAIN" and I stress the again because about five and a half years ago they hooked up and have been together since then. CHEATER MAYBE!? I'm almost certain he is. No male bashing at all but he surely didn't deserve Whitney. After all he ruined her life!

Bobby Brown was also asked about his daughter Bobby Christina who was suspected of using drugs but Brown stated that she was set up by an ex-boyfriend. He said that his daughter was in the studio working on her album and she can sing better than her mom and has his legs. AHAHAHA! Very funny....NOOOOOOOO! I'll pay more attention to Bobby Brown when we can get some truth out of him. He looked pretty decent compared to the past but I'm still not convinced and DATS MY CAKE EXCLUSIVE!

Chris Brown's Road to Destruction

As much as I love the Chris Brown controversy, I must say that he needs counseling. Real talk! Wendy Williams stated on her show last night that Chris had an interview with Robin Roberts of Good Morning America who persisted with questions regarding the beating of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. He stormed off the set and went to his dressing room where he became so irate about the nagging questions that he got very emotional screaming and eventually broke a window at the GMA studios and threw furniture at GMA employees. Apparently, shards of glass fell from the windows on to one of New York City's many busy streets.

A person of Chris Brown's status should know how to develop methods of controlling anger to avoid public scrutiny especially. I'm not too sure if he is enjoying it or what but this is truly bad publicity for the star singer. I certainly ain't no therapist but it is imperative that Chris obtain some counseling to be a good example to his fans, future children, future mate, and for himself. His behaviour has to change as a result of his own innate desire. It's unfortunate when such incredible talent is wasted on the actions of an immature mind. He needs to deal with the issues he suffered as a child of his dad beating his mother to get rid of his endless anger. What will it be next Chris?!?! A word to the wise is sufficient-CHRIS, GET YOURSELF SOME COUNSELING BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

NEWS FLASH: Beyonce vs. Lady Gaga!!!

Apparently Beyonce and Lady Gaga are beefing! They collaborated on that song, "Telephone" together but ironically they won't be telephoning each other any time soon. Sources say that Beyonce has called Gaga names such as 'selfish egomaniac' which is unlike Beyonce. She is the type that usually stays away from drama. Maybe Jay Z gave her a few pointers about holding her own. lol I mean he's giving her advice suitable for a wife of a New York Rapper. You gotta be gulley when you reppin' Jay Z!

Anyhow, Lady Gaga ain't no punk because she fired back as well stating that Beyonce is just another jealous hater. Whoa! I'm not trying to start drama but those are fighting words! In the famous words of Rodney King, "can't we all just get along??" I can't help but laugh at this feud though. It's cute. Maybe the next time Gaga dresses up, she will either be something relative to a weapon! However, Beyonce don't play that! She's from Texas. She's rounded up many bulls in her day. Hahaha!

On a more serious note, it's a shame that two modern-day icons have to resort to such hateration. Each can share the fame. I really don't think this one will continue because they're good people but we will see how this one turns out!

Halle Berry is Gonna Catch a Case!

Before Halle Berry and the father of her child ended their highly publicized feud, he thought it was necessary to attack her with the 'N' word. Little did he know that calling Halle names is also like calling his daughter names because they have the same blood. What an idiot! Halle was so irate that she began to make the custody battle very difficult for her ex-beau. Halle stated that although her mother is white, she considers herself black and that comment ultimately sparked the anger within her ex.

It's truly unfortunate that he cannot appreciate that special part of his daughter--the black side. It doesn't matter whether it is 5% or 95% of his child is black, the point is he discriminated against his own child. That just doesn't sit well with me. If I were the judge ruling in the case, that alone would be cause for Halle Berry to receive sole custody of her daughter. That man didn't realize what a prize he had in Halle who is deemed the most beautiful woman in the world. Yep! He's a real idiot. Smh.

Former Supermodel Nikki Taylor Voted Off Celebrity Apprentice. OH NO!

I'm not really sure if Nikki Taylor has one bad bone in her body because she seems to be one of the nicest people I've ever seen on Celebrity Apprentice. Even though she bumped heads with Dionne Warwick on the show at one point, as project manager Nikki vowed not to "throw anyone under the bus" because her caring heart wouldn't allow her to do so. Donald Trump even commended her for her integrity although he fired her. She took sole responsibility for the loss that her team suffered and would not speak ill of anyone not even the legendary Dionne Warwick. At the end of the show, Star Jones called her a "class act." I totally agree that Nikki is more than an amazing person but her number one goal was to raise money for her charity. However, I'm sure it was a difficult decision for her because of her good nature. If we all tried to be more like Nikki Taylor regarding her positive attitude, maybe there would be less war and more love!

Jennifer Hudson: From Tragedy to Inspiration

Jennifer Hudson is such an inspiration on so many levels. She endured the loss of three family members as a result of a brutal murder and still manages to hold on to faith and hope while being a fairly new mother. The most significant change has been her astounding 80 pound weight loss while on Weight Watchers. Some dieticians have criticized her dramatic weight loss saying that Jennifer looks too thin, however, whether she is 250 pounds or 125 pounds, they would talk about her so their opinion doesn't really matter. All that matters is that she is healthy and happy! She did admit that her new body is taking a while for her to adjust and I believe it's because she looks so amazing. Well Jennifer, keep up the great work! It's a new day and renewed happiness for you!

Spice up your Life! Former Spice Girl Mel B is expecting another child. Mel B whose real name is Melanie Brown is going to be having her third child. She is joined with former band mates Emma Bunton who is due in May and Victoria Beckham who is expecting a girl in July. Mel B already has two daughters, 12 year old Phoenix and 3 year old Angel. Mel B spoke to Hello! Magazine and claimed that her and her husband Stephen Belafonte are thrilled to be having a baby together. Lady Gaga has always been one to be out casted and ridiculed for her taboo behavior so shouldn’t it come as only natural that when she re-uses a Madonna classic for her own vocals that she gets band from some parts of the worlds radio stations.
"The particular lyrics in 'Born This Way' may be considered as offensive when viewed against Malaysia's social and religious observances," said AMP Radio Networks; the country's top private radio operator, in a statement. For me I think we all need a bit of a push, we might as well get past all our judgments and such out and to the wind, it's time for change.

The popular social networking site turns 5 today, and in celebration they launched a new website http://discover.twitter.com/ which features 16 different users from different backgrounds such as entertainment, political, business and even astronautics. List of celebrities includes Serena Williams, Virgin group founder Richard Branson, and rapper Snoop Dogg.

Including the launch of the new discover website, they also launched a 2min youtube video where the 16 different celebs discuss who they follow and why they use twitter. Five years ago today co-founder Jack Dorsey sent the very first tweet ever, back then it was called “twttr”. Today the social media website has millions of users, and nears a value of $10billion. SO apparently Nicki Minaj may be considered as a judge for US X-Factor!!!! Why oh
WHY would they have Nicki Minaj be a host? a) she’s a RAPPER, b) she can't SING!!!!
Apparently she is in negotiations with Simon Cowell to possibly be the next judge along
side L.A. Reid who has already been confirmed as a judge. I think they should stick to
their original choice Nicole Sherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, but HEY we're just going to
have to wait and see!

Wyclef, SHOT!!!!

Someone please call 911!!!!! The legendary singer and songwriter Wyclef Jean has
reportedly been shot! Wyclef has just been released from the hospital, and sources
say that he was shot in Haiti by an unknown person. On Wyclef’s twitter page his
management made a statement saying that the artist is doing fine. Well the man is
LUUUUCKY that bullet didn’t hit his brain!!! Maybe it's a sign from the Haitian people that
he needs to STOP running for president of Haiti!!!!

RapCity or CrapCity? ...time will tell.

MuchMusic just released the commercial for RapCity, and of course it features it's new
host T-Rexx of the ever so popular Toronto blog 1<3T.O. NOW I must say I am
impressed, I enjoyed watching it, I watched it about 3 times and they did a really great
job. The tattoo part was my favorite, at the end where it shows his 1<3T.O. glow in the
dark tattoo, that was sick, the rest was also well put, I’m really impressed. NOW if
only they could bring THAT MUCH excitement into the show...The commercial does the
show no justice whatsoever! Any basic Torontonian watching that commercial is gunna
think that the show is gunna be FIRE, in comes Thursday and they watch and
FLOP...the show is not what you would expect. I wouldn’t say RapCity is GARBAGE in
general, I’d be lying if I said that...but I really really think they need to do something to
not make it such a boring show to watch. In my opinion, T-Rexx needs more lessons on
how to be a proper host...he needs to learn that he’s gotta have a
CONVERSATION(key word) with his guests, every time he has a guest on the show it
just looks like he’s the host, and their the guest at the show and that's NOT what you
want. I’ve been in school for journalism for three years now, and I’ve mastered how to
interview someone and make it look like a conversation. People gravitate more to a host
and guest acting like their long time friends just having a conversation. T-Rexx hasn’t
mastered that yet, and this is why everytimeeee Thursday rolls around and people are
watching the show, the first thing they say is “this interview looks extremely awkward”.
The amount of times I’ve seen this is ridiculous, and it's sad because I
really think T-Rexx COULD potentially be a great host for the show, but he needs a little
more practice in doing that. SECOND the show being aired on THURSDAY at 10PM
which everybody and they mommas knows that's T-SHIRT TIME(Jersey Shore) was a
HUGE mistake! They should have AT LEAST put it at 11 or something! Or on another
night, because now their in competition with the number one reality show on tv so
putting it on that night at that time was a big no no on MuchMusic’s part. But hey! Once
the season is over MAYBE just MAYBE it’ll get more viewers!!! and LASTLY the set on
RapCity is GARBAGE yes I said it. GARBAGE!!! It's too squished, too small, and too
many randoms on the couch, every so often you see all these god damn random people
on the couch and you're thinking to yourself “HEY! is that another guest on the show?” it’s
really aggravating to see so many randoms on the couches. They also need BIGGER
COUCHES! or have everybody stand. I was watching one episode and T-Rexx was
interviewing “The Lytics” and I swear there’s like 4 of them in the group, all FOUR of
them were squished onto this tiny couch and it just looked so awkward! Like you could
tell they were NOT comfortable at all! Then after a music break one guy got up
and sat on the arm of the couch! I DIED with laughter, they really need to do something
about that set and the couch situation because it's just too damn small!

But that’s my LOOONG opinion on RapCity!!!!! Please don’t hate, it IS just my opinion!

Rihanna: From Bajan Beauty to Rebel (Single banned in 11 countries)

Lately, I've been noticing some significant changes in Rihanna or maybe it's just her true colors coming out. Who knows!?! However, her new video S&M takes the cake. Okay, let's examine this particular video because I know many of my Caribbean people are a little irate right now. First and foremost, Rihanna has been making a statement as seen at the Grammys that she is no longer a little girl but a grown woman that can make decisions regarding her music and messages in the music. Because of her outfit and performance at the Grammys, it has brought a lot of negative attention to her--perhaps from parents, the media, and a lot of women whose men can't get enough of their red headed goddess. In the video, she has different messages posted to her body like, "slut" to say the least. There is an abundance of sexual gestures not befitting of a young lady which I don't think she wants to be anyhow. In essence, this is just another ploy to obtain more publicity and fall right into the same light as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and all those socialite maniacs.

I'm unsure why Rihanna would want to fulfill the negative views that have been stated about her. By acting in such an unladylike manner it shows that she is giving in to the stereotype of the black woman that we dress sexy and we are bound to turn out a certain way because of our sexual appetite. The video is really beyond racy and I am highly disappointed in her that she would take it to that level. I'm positive that there are many young Caribbean women like myself that see this as totally disgusting and would not support Rihanna in the future unless she cleans up her act. However, Rihanna could probably care less at this point but if we stopped purchasing her records, maybe she would care then.

In conclusion, there is just a certain way to deal with these kinds of issues that she is having. She is definitely going through the side effects of being the subject of criticism. Instead of doing such a distasteful video, she could have done interviews to show that she is not as the media says she is. Her behavior is a reflection of Caribbean women and black women in general. If I had my choice, I certainly wouldn't have her video on my station. She would have to clean that act up before my teenage daughter would be able to see it. I'm really ashamed to say that she is Caribbean. It may sound harsh to some but truth hurts! One day I hope that the truth will set Rihanna free! (Shaking my head)

Romeo: Heir to the Hip Hop Throne & Role Model

On one of Mo'Nique's late night shows, Percy Miller aka Master P handed his son Romeo his platinum No Limit Records chain as a symbol of his takeover from his dad as CEO of the multi-million dollar company. Romeo now has control of pretty much every aspect of the company including music, the clothing line, and a multitude of other incredible ventures. However, at this present time, you can find Romeo hitting the books at the University of Southern California while he is on a full athletic scholarship to play basketball. He's athletic, handsome and smart! What a great combo for all these young women in their early 20s and an example to all the brothers out there striving for success. On the show, Romeo encouraged young people to pursue their education because they will always need something to fall back on if everything else fails. No one should go into the music industry with the misconception that everything will be handed to them. You must be aware of what it takes to be successful as well as knowing basic essentials such as counting money, reading, etc. because the industry can be tricky so knowledge is power.

I believe that Romeo should be a role model to anyone in pursuit of success. He's grown from a young rapper and heir to the No Limit throne into a role model and CEO. He has given most of the credit to his father who stated that he would like to be remembered as a businessman and not a rapper. After a while, you must grow from what you knew in the hood into an adult who prioritizes in order to obtain the finer things in life. Not necessarily anything tangible, but respect, integrity, and dignity. Therefore, let Romeo be an example to this generation of youth spreading the message that it is okay to work hard for what you want because hard work will take you where you need to be!

NeNe Leakes vs. Star Jones: Battle of the Beasts?!?!

Nene Leakes of Real Housewives of ATL is known for her no nonsense attitude and bully-ish persona. She can be a real beast at times with the constant yapping of her mouth, which she seems to have trouble controlling. lol To me, she really represents many black women as always ready to fight but many of us are lady like. However, on Donald Trump's show 'Celebrity Apprentice' Nene seems to have met her match in Star Jones, former co-host of 'The View.' Star Jones will not back down from the monster because although she is a professional, don't get it twisted, she is not a push over. I suppose the fact that she is an accomplished attorney also helps to encourage that beastly side of her.

It's really about time Nene gets a taste of her own medicine. I was a huge fan of Nene on Real Housewives of ATL initially until she started being negative about any and everything. I felt like jumping in the tv and telling her to SHUT THE HECK UP! Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion but her stank attitude overshadowed whatever gentleness she has within her.

It is my desire, therefore, that Star Jones shows Nene what real professionalism is. Star Jones earned her way on television as a hard working woman. Nene is simply a media fiend socialite who happened to be chosen for a reality tv show. I love Real Housewives of ATL but Nene is beginning to give the show a bad name. Nene come over to the good side. Life is better when you're not a miserable tower of bricks. The man with the Golden Voice is what they call him. The youtube and TV sensation unfortunately has been arrested. He was arrested for allegedly assaulting his daughter at the renaissance hotel. LAPD officers responded to the call around 9pm and arrested both him and his daughter. They spent the night in jail and later were released. Earlier during the week the paparazzi and media surrounded Ted as he was reunited with his mother after not seeing her for 20years. Charges in the alleged assault have not been made.

NOW! Here’s my take on this whole fiasco! I feel SUUUUUUUUUPER bad for this man, I mean don’t get me wrong. I’m so happy for him trust me, I really am. I’m so glad that he was able to get a second chance, but OH EM GEE!!! the Media and Paparazzi need to leave this man alone!!!! I am so scared that all this is happening waaaaay too fast and he’s going to get overwhelmed and either go back to his old habits or worse seriously hurt himself. I mean the man has been on the streets since the 90’s nobody ever payed him no mind or bothered to help him and NOW all of sudden all this is happening and it’s just happening so damn fast I feel like he doesn’t even know what to do, or say anymore! I mean guys seriously you all saw what happened to BRITNEY SPEARS and she basically grew up with the paparazzi in her face and look how nuts she went!!! Imagine TED a former homeless man for almost ten years, and all of a sudden everywhere he goes the media just follows him???

I just finished watching this interview that Ted did with Entertainment Tonight and I tell you I just feel so bad for him. I kind of feel like because they know he is a homeless man and that he’s pretty vulnerable the media is using him to just spill out the beans on everything. It's so hard for me to watch him when he’s doing his interviews because I feel like he’s just so vulnerable, AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THAT CLIP WITH HIM REUNITING WITH HIS MOTHER! OH EM GEE! I just thought they went TOO far with all that! How are you gunna reunite with your mother after not seeing her for 20years and have it put on television?!?!?!!? URGH! You guys don’t understand how infuriated I was!!!! Where is his manager?!?! If I were his manager I would have said NO! They need privacy!!!! like come on!!! Their exploiting the poor man!!!!!!!

I think Ted Williams needs time to take in everything that is happening to him, because this is just WAAAY too much too soon.

As for his daughter, when I was watching her interview on Doctor Phil I just wanted to smack her. I don’t believe her one bit! I think she’s jealous because her once deadbeat homeless father is now famous and living the Hollywood life. Everything she says is full of bull in my opinion, I don’t believe her one bit.

RIP Nate Dogg: Man with the Soulful Gangsta R&B Voice

Sadly Nathaniel Dwayne Hale aka Nate Dogg passed away on March 15, 201, at age 41 due to complications from several strokes over the past few years according to MTV. Although gone, he will never be forgotten because of his soulful gangsta R&B voice. You can hear him singing many choruses on fellow West Coast artists Snoop Dogg and Warren G songs. As a former group member of the 213 rap group he made his mark in the Hip Hop game as the big guy with the identifiable voice.

As the son of a Pastor and growing up in the Baptist Church he knew that singing would become his lifeline. He was eventually discovered by Dr. Dre and was eventually signed to Death Row Records. One of his many songs include regulate produced in 1994 with rapper Warren G. He was also featured on several of Tupac's tracks.

He had several issues with the laws and major health issues in the past few years as well which eventually led to his death. Nate Dogg has left behind music to be passed down to generations of Hip Hop lovers. May his soul rest in peace.

Too Young for the Music Industry?

10 year old Willow Smith, daughter of Will and Jada Smith has taken the music game by storm but is she a little too young to dedicate her childhood to an industry that doesn't really cater to children? Many would say, well her parents have been in the entertainment industry for so long so it's okay because they will protect her interest at all costs. This may be an accurate statement but as a 10 year old child, she should be playing on the playground with her friends and not worrying about when she's going to get her next cheque. If she has the talent gene in her, it is inevitable and therefore, as she grows older, no one will have to question her talent because she has it. I just think that she needs time to grow into who she truly wants to be, not as an artist but as a human being. Many times we see childhood stars grow up to be unusual individuals who struggle with addiction such as Todd Bridges from A Different Strokes. We do not want to wish any ill will on little Willow but it's time for her to play with dolls and put down the microphone until she can balance her cheque book on her own. She will be ready then!

OOOOOOhhhhh WOW CHRIS! He's blond?

He's done it again. Chris Brown is always giving everyone something to talk about and we are talking! He has gone blond as a change in conjunction with his new album entitled, "F.A.M.E." According to whudat.com, he posted blondie pictures on his twitter account along with stating that he is going to roll with it for a minute. How do fans respond to this? It is so apparent that Brown is creating a publicity phenomena unlike any other in order to sell records. This stunt may work in his favour. Don't count him out yet because he has many hardcore fans that will not back down from buying his records no matter what he does. If his fans continue to buy his record even with the outrageous behaviour then he will be a force to reckon with because his vocal ability is amazing. He just needs an incredible attitude adjustment!

What Ever Happened to These One Hit Wonders???

As lovers of R&B and Hip Hop, we always want to give credit where it is due, however, what if the credit goes to some of the best groups of the past that had one hit and then you never saw them again. Shame! Remember that group, 'Soul for Real'? You ever wondered what happened to them. Apparently, the lead singer of that group along with some of his brothers were indicted for identity theft. Guess things got so bad with them that they had to resort to crime. Pictures of them are on the internet and sorry to say but it's not a good look. It's a real shame because I think they had great potential. Their harmony was tight but in end I suppose the money wasn't right?!? Who knows!

I got a tune for ya'll! "Blackberry Molasses one of the things that never change..." OMG! I loved that song by Mista who were often compared to Boyz II Men and New Edition, but what ever happened to those young gentlemen? I only know of one former group member that is currently doing well named Bobby Wilson aka Bobby V. who has been nominated for a number of awards and has won the Urban Music Awards in 2009. Some find a different way when things don't work initially. You can call that good work ethic in my book!

There are really so many groups to name like Subway, 702, Playa, Escape, etc. Some of them had more than one hit but I'm sure many of us miss the days when music was real. These groups had the harmony and the swag of the time. I guess it can't be the 90's forever. I'm not mad that music has taken a different direction with the use of technology to make voices sound "unique". The use of vocal ability is just not as important as it used to be. Unfortunately, teenagers love the new sound which these music companies will continue to produce. The rest of us don't really have a say! And that's a CAKE EXCLUSIVE!

CHRIS BROWN: IT'S OFFICIAL! HE HAS LOST HIS MIND

Controversy never ceases to leave Chris Brown alone but follows him like a wolf tracking down its prey. Apparently, Chris Brown is running his mouth about how lonely he was during the altercation with Rihanna--more like the beat down he gave Rihanna! He stated that when the incident occurred many turned their backs to him especially other artists who didn't want such negativity to be "attached to their name." Is he serious!?! Chris, other artists turn their back on you because you damaged another human being's face and self-esteem. We can say maybe Chris is right. Maybe some of the artists did it for that reason; give them the benefit of the doubt, however, it is highly unlikely that it was specifically just for that reason. I'm sure many of those that supported Brown had loyalty to Rihanna as well and out of sympathy for her, those artists stood by her side. If a person has compassion for another human being then he or she would gravitate to the one that is hurt.

As an avid advocate for fighting against domestic violence and intimate partner violence, I will say that Chris Brown was wrong. It didn't matter if Chris Brown hit Rihanna or Rihanna hit Chris Brown. Either way it would've been wrong because abuse against another human being is wrong. But for Brown to act like he should've received some kind of sympathy card for physically violating another person is absurd! Every man and woman has a right to feel safe and I'm sure that Rihanna did feel that way, at least initially. I've worked with abused women and the impact that such violence can have on them is astounding. These women are often fearful of any and everything. They are paranoid and possess minimal socialization skills. Intimate Partner Violence can cause major emotional damage.

Hey Chris! You're just mad that Rihanna got the sympathy card and you didn't. Get over yourself! Yes you are a great artist but I don't know about the caring side of you (doesn't exist) especially in reading your latest comments. Keep it up and pretty soon you will be like Charlie Sheen--the household name of negativity! AND DATS A CAKE EXCLUSIVE!

MELO to the KNICKS

Carmelo Anthony is FINALLY home!! We just had to do a small post on Melo, since he is so damn adorable and respected as a player. This New York native had been playing for Denver for 7 seasons and has never even got close to a championship. Going to school at Syracuse and bleeding that orange blood to move forward to the NBA as good as he is, you would think he would have a ring already. The Knicks is going to be such a powerful move for Anthony, playing in his hometown @ The Garden everynight. Not to mention the WICKED trio that himself, Chauncey Billups and Amare Stoudemire are about to create. They recently beat the HEAT, such a huge victory for one of Anthony’s first games with NY. We are so excited that he is going to have his time to shine and potentially make it to that championship one day. There has been talks that himself and wife LaLa will have a reality show, now that they have relocated to the big apple.
