Cake got a chance to watch the Oscars and with all the buzz around Anne Hathaway and James Franco, both nominees for Oscars James this year and Anne in the past, they didn’t do that great of a job. Anne’s huge effort for energy and shine didn’t balance so well with the very monotone, less personable James Franco. Sources say that they ended up really disliking each other closer to production and post production James left right after the show. His film 127 Hours was nominated in many categories of the awards, but didn’t take anything home of much importance. Overall the favourites and the obvious took home what was exciting, but the hosts definitely were not the remarkable showcase of the evening. Let’s see who they throw at us next year to gossip about.
